What a weekend! The energy, the pride, the unity—Norwalk’s 1st Annual Juneteenth Carnival Weekend 2025 was nothing short of unforgettable. From the powerful Walk for Freedom to the vibrant celebration of Black culture, community, and joy, this was a historic moment for our city—and one that we’ll carry in our hearts for years to come.
Juneteenth is more than just a date on the calendar. It’s a symbol of resilience, remembrance, and freedom. And this year, Norwalk, CT showed up in full force to celebrate that legacy with our very first Juneteenth Carnival Weekend—a milestone that was only made possible thanks to the incredible individuals and organizations who believed in the vision and stood behind it every step of the way.
